EXPLORE:
Build the foundational pass-and-move habit around a 4-cone square - directional first touch, body shape on the receive, and immediate follow to the next cone.
Fork it into your private drills, then change the animation, adjust positions, swap equipment, or drop it into a session block.
our cones forming a square, sides 5–15 metres depending on the focus. Minimum five players: one to start with the ball plus an extra player queued behind them, then distribute remaining players around the other cones. With 6+ players, queue 1–3 at each cone.
The player at the front of the starting cone passes around the square (clockwise or anti-clockwise - pick one direction), taking a directional first touch before passing where possible. After passing, they jog to join the back of the queue at the next cone. The next player at each cone steps up early, ready to receive and continue the pattern.
